Tip

If you do a soil pH test and find the soil is acidic, you would usually look at adding dolomite to correct. Dolomite lime powder will increase the alkalinity but it does take quite some time.

Now there is a liquid dolomite that’s easy to apply and fast acting and it’s called Eco-Flo Dolomite.

Hi David,

 David - No background

This is one of my favourite cartoons called “Inches away from the diamonds” which can also be applied to the art of growing food. Maybe you didn’t have a lot of luck with your first crops but don’t give up. Every time you try, you will gain more experience and gradually your harvests will become more abundant and more reliable.

Stacking Gardens

 strawb

As we go through the winter months, the most important aspect of looking after the plants in your stacking garden will be to make sure it’s in the sunniest place possible.

Lots of sun through thesee cooler months will help the plants natural defence mechanisms to ward off pest and disease.

The Easy move trolley’s make it easy to shift the stacking garden into the best position.

Building a vertical garden has never been easier. The modular design makes Wall Garden incredibly versatile. Rearrange each module independently and build your garden as long or as tall as you want. Plants grow upwards, just like they would in a garden bed.

Each pack contains 10 modules. Each module is 600mm wide, 200mm deep and 200mm hide.

This is a Wall Garden I set up attached to the back of a retaining wall at my place. It’s only 7 modules high and is as tall as I am. There are over 30 strawberry plants in this stack so I’m looking forward to great harvests which are just starting now!
